I don't know who you are, Superlefty, but the SIGGRAPH conference was held at the LA Convention Center. The dome theaters were really small, with about 20-some people per show, and the actual "theater" was an inflatable tent dome.
Next year, unfortunately, SIGGRAPH will be held in Boston, so I'm not sure I will go. We'll see.
It began as a way to whine about life issues, turned into a double whine with a new hubby, and now is a whine about moving across 3 states to begin life anew in Texas.

Wow with that "I don't know who you are superlefty" I got this old west flash. Our nobel author standing on one side of a dusty boomtown street, and our nameless villian Superlefty on the other... although the banter they give before they draw their trusty Colt Peacemakers, is really stupid and outta place.... but it was a funny image let me tell you.
1) i'm not a villain. i gave you your count name, oh-former-doctor-whateley. and, 2) how can you not know it's me? dude...so hurt. maybe you're not the artiste i thought you were. *sniff, sniff* you don't call, you don't write...well, you do call, but we've been playing phone tag. enough hints? The Colt Peacemaker is only the best gun in the west. Very fitting for the old west don't-ya-think. Besides it's not like I'm advocating people having an old west duel, I'm just saying the image was funny. And besides, what makes you think I don't own a gun... or several guns... like a big wall of automatic weapons hidden behind a flimsy blanket like Jayne has.
